Attorney Profile

Deborah A. Stewart, Esq.
Owner and Founder

Deborah Stewart graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (BSBA) and a Master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA).  She earned her Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School.  Prior to law school, Mrs. Stewart worked for NationsBank (now Bank of America) as a Trust Officer, and as a Senior Consultant for Deloitte Consulting, one of the top accounting firms in the country.

While in law school, Mrs. Stewart interned with the Civil Pro Bono Family Law Project in Atlanta (CPB-FLP), a program designed to educate incarcerated mothers on their parental rights.  She was named as a peer mentor, a Dean's Fellow, and received several Dean's Awards from her law school.  Mrs. Stewart also served as an extern with the Alpharetta Municipal Court, working on misdemeanor criminal cases and traffic cases.  After passing the Georgia Bar, Mrs. Stewart began working as an Assistant Solicitor (Prosecutor) for the Alpharetta Municipal Court on an as-needed basis.

Believing that she could be more effective in assisting people with a variety of legal issues by starting her own practice, Mrs. Stewart founded The Stewart Law Practice, PC in 2011.  In this capacity, she is able to combine her legal training with her years of business and consulting experience to better advise and represent her clients.
Mrs. Stewart is a member of several professional organizations including the State Bar of Georgia, the Gate City Bar Association, GABWA, and the North Fulton Bar Association.
